Utility rules and programs for Smyrna
Delmarva Power and Delaware Electric Cooperative serve Kent County, so which rules apply depends on your address.
| Utility | Type | EV programs and rates |
|---|---|---|
| Delmarva Power | investor-owned | Delmarva customers can apply for the state Green Energy Program grant ($0.80 per watt, up to $10,000) and the Solar + Storage Pilot battery grant ($250 per kWh, up to $6,000). | Delaware Electric Cooperative | member-owned cooperative | The cooperative runs its own renewable grants, applied for through Energize Delaware, and community solar for about $10 extra a month that does not offset your use. We found no EV rate or rebate. |
